Everyone knows that Tokyo is a famous shopping district and there is many young and hip youths getting their trendy and funky clothes there. It is one of the favorite hobbies among the youths especially for the female gender. This is a sign of globalization taking its’ form and displaying the effect of youths differing from the social demands compared to the past.
Origami
Japanese youth adults also prefer to make paper arts with their free leisure time and they enjoy it very much. They see it as a meaningful hobby as the paper arts signify importance to the Japanese culture.
Television/Anime
Most of the Japanese enjoy spending 2 or 3 hours of their daily time watching TV programs or anime. They feel that it is a relaxing and they like to picture themselves in another’s story aside from reality.
Toning/Fitness
Japanese are quite health conscious and a number of them prefer to spend their time exercising and toning their body. More of the female Japanese enjoy doing this as a leisure activity as they believe in exercising to stay beautiful and healthy. Therefore, there are now signs of more females in Japan have signing up for gym exercises nowadays.
