Manga

This culture is a well-known trend among the teenagers which is the Manga. Manga is part of the Japanese culture portraying comics and cartoons of many different types of categories. This culture only started to develop during the 19th century and most of the stories in the comic book consist of fictional subjects. This culture is not only developing in Japan but the trend of Manga is now running wild throughout the whole Europe and Asia.

Geisha
I presume that many people born in these modern centuries will definitely heard or see what a Geisha is. Also, there is a movie produced in the last few years called the “Memories of the Geisha” to spread awareness to the world of what the culture of Geisha is all about. They are basically female performers or entertainers in the olden Japan and they basically dance or sing to please their customers. However, some female in the Geisha field offer sex services to their customers which now, creates a perception among foreigners that Geisha are prostitutes.

Origami
Have you ever wondered where our childhood hobby of folding paper airplanes, boats and swans came about? Well, it actually originated from Japan and came only popular in the 16th century. It is developed as a form of entertainment and the culture was brought to the world rapidly. It is also used as a form of ceremonial objects at that point of time and can be commonly seen in weddings.

Sumo Wrestling
Sumo Wrestling is considered one of the famous sports in Japan and has now, spread its name throughout the world. Even the Olympics now have a competition especially for Sumo Wrestling. There are a lot of ritual and cultural elements to Sumo Wrestling and there are sayings of humans wrestling with a holy spirit in a ritual dance. Sumo Wrestlers are all huge in body size and they train themselves to eat massively to be fat.
